"What is a bed and breakfast inn without the coffee???   Ask my guests who stroll downstairs as the sun is peeking over the rooftops!  The fresh aroma of The Tudor Inn Blend  drifting up through the stairwell brings many an early bird down to enjoy their first cup of coffee while visiting with the innkeeper preparing morning pastries, finishing the last pages of a favorite book in the library or slipping outside to the gardens or the deck to greet the morning with fingers wrapped snugly around a steaming mug!  Guests enjoy a variety of coffees during their stay at the inn and often go home with sampler packages provided as guest gifts at breakfast.  Many visitors from states throughout the country have continued to place coffee orders for personal and business enjoyment with Princess Valiant upon their return home.  The delicious aroma may have faded as day passes into night; but memories of that delicious coffee lingers long with my guests. They always come back for more!  Hope you will too."

"As a self-proclaimed coffee snob, used to fresh-roasted Peet's, finding locally roasted organic coffee is a godsend. Princess Valiant Coffee is extraordinarily delicious, and the care in roasting comes through in every hot steaming cup. I have tried several roasts, love them all, and am still finding flavors that thrill my palate. The fact that these scrumptious coffees are helping sustain small farms around the globe, not to mention promoting local small business entrepreneurs, just adds to my satisfaction and commitment to support Princess Valiant Coffee. Drinking a cup of coffee harvested by Kinjibi women in the mountains of Papua New Guinea does something for my morning coffee ritual that is hard to describe, but it is a wonderful connection. I encourage everyone I know to give Princess Valiant Coffee a try!"

"Drinking coffee for me is one of the ceremonies that make up my life.  It's more than just getting a blast of caffeine from a big mug of hot steaming beverage.  Drinking coffee is what I do when the sun is just coming up, the birds are singing in my garden, and my dogs are stretching and asking me for a walk. Princess Valiant is my coffee of choice for several reasons.  Well, for one it's darned good coffee. The flavor, aroma, and full body comes from carefully selected and roasted quality beans.  But there are other equally important reasons. As a consumer and as someone who is concerned with environmental, economic and social issues, I want to support businesses that are equally committed to those issues. Princess Valiant searches out and sells coffees that are organic, eco- and bird-friendly and sells those that meet most, if not all, of these criteria. And many of the coffees sold help support the economic development of many farmers who could not otherwise survive the practices of the mega agri-business growers. Princess Valiant is a locally-owned and operated business.  It supports the economic development of our local community by keeping our consumer dollars here at home. The future of small businesses, including Princess Valiant coffee, is the future of the economy on the North Olympic Peninsula.  And did I mention that the coffee is pretty danged tasty?  In case I didn't, it is."
